I took my car in to get an alignment before the new tires went on and they said something is loose in my suspension. If you put the car on jack stands then jacked up one of the front control arms and took the load off of the balljoints you could move the tire up and down a bit. I figured it was the ball joints so I replaced them. It still has play in it. With the suspension unloaded and I grab the strut in the middle where it comes togetor you can wobble it around and there is a fair amount of play in it. I checked my caster camber plates and it's not moving there it's coming from the middle of the strut. Has anyone noticed this at all of is this normal on these struts? I have been trying to call bilstein but havent gotten any call backs. If someone could do what I did to check it and let me know if they have any play it would help me out in figuring if this is normal or not.
