I tried searching but I can't find a similar situation. I have a 97 GT and when the car is off, the driver side door switch will lock but will not unlock both doors. The passenger side door switch works properly and unlocks/locks both doors. Here is the strange part, when the car is running, the driver side door switch now works and both doors can be unlocked/locked. The passenger side continues to operate properly.
When the car is running or off, the keyless remote works properly and locks/unlocks both doors.
I can't figure out why the driver side door switch will not unlock only when the car is not running. I wasted $ taking a plunge replacing the driver side switch with no success.
