I was wondering can i eliminate these boxes and what do they exactly do???
One had two plugs roughly 8-10 wires each plug and went side by side into this box. one plug to the harness the other out the firewall and into the fender. I'm guessing thats where they put cruise control. I don't need it in my svo but do i need this thing???

The second I'm guessing does the fan and whatever fan don't work and i have it hard wired.

I really just want the basics for my heat and gauges I'm going to have aftermarket gauges.Stereo I'll run all new wiring.
I figured if i don't need it due to mods or whatever Ive done there really probably useless. " I hope "

Hey Kiddiccarus,
Let me get her running and i'll let you know the rear defrost I'll probably keep I got rear defrost on the svo.
Cruise i'm not worried about not sure if the box works plus i think i might have to swap one out on my girlfriends car. Plu not sure if i can just unplug them and the car will run
