black convertible tops

Dammit all these black on black verts is making me miss my 95 you all suck!
Cloth top all the way if you can afford it, i had the vinyl on my 95 and it held up real well but seemed to fade fast, a buddy of mine had the cloth top and it is still holding up great and has not faded at all and looks way better. My two cents. Dan
I'll go drive my hard top around now :(

I'd say vinyl is a hell of a lot more durable than cloth. IMO do like I did and check and see how your glass is holding up in the rear. Mine was 3M taped to the back curtain so I opted to get one that was sewn into the curtain. Do it all at once- the top and the rear curtain. Make sure the top includes new cables too cuz the old ones will be pretty stretched and worn out. If you do it yourself it's gonna be a serious pain. My buddy who has done some serious body and interior work for years swears he'll never do another convertible top after replacing mine. After buying the new curtain and top off of Ebay, all-in-all I prolly spent no more than $300 if that.
