Black interior conversion - which paint?

I went to Advanced auto parts today, and all they had was Duplicolor Vinyl paint in flat and semi gloss black for $7 a can. I guess IM better off with the SEM stuff since that is what you used, but I dont know if I can find it without shopping on line.

try looking for an auto paint shop.

if mine wasnt black on black from the ford I would use automotive paint ie PPG,Dupont, Sikkens etc with thiere plastic adhesive promotor. Usually you would use a matte clear. Weve did this when we had to do a dash and say it only comes in grey and has to be tan etc. Thats the best way to go about it. Wax and degrese the part and gray scuff with panel prep and then paint with adhesion promotor/plastic prep stuff

Thanks Davis3 (First name?). I have a shop that's not too close, but they have a lot of stuff there. I can get it from Eastwood or from TPG ( I get my HOK paints from there) for about $12 per can. Is one can sufficient, or should I get 2?

First name's Harvey,but i like Davis better

i used 1 can,barely made it stretch.you should probably get two so you dont run out.
