Bird chit can roach paint so fast...that stuff eats right into the clear if left on to long...

I had 3-4 spots last year...best method is to have em buffed out...the guy who repaired mine lightly wetsanded with 500..put the compound to it, then finished with polish..there was nearly a trace afterwards...mine looked like White spider webs under the paint...

Try doing a spot by hand going front to back with a rubbing compound ( or try Meguiar's deep crystal paint cleaner ). Buff a spot then clean off, then use Meguiar's polishing compound, then wax.

Now if that works then get a 6" random orbit sander/polisher and got to town on the whole car

If it did not work

Then it will need to be wet sanded then buffed out.

500 grit sandpaper?????

That is just nuts. I hope that was a typo.

Try a good degreaser/cleanser. At my work we use some stuff called "orange punch". It removes bugs/bird crap like no other.

But if it has actually damaged the paint, then you need to go to a coarse wax first. If that doesn't work, then try some wetsanding with 1500/2000 & then apply a wax that removes the sandpaper marks. That should do it.

Always try the least abrasive technique first, then work your way to stronger means.

black is definately the hardest to keep clean, but it looks sooooooo sweet when it's clean.

Dark Colors look the best (when clean) but keeping them that way is the problem
