Black powder coated exhaust tips..possible??

I was just thinking how bad a$$ some black power coated exhaust tips would look on my black 04 GT. Does anyone know of any place that would sell these and if not who would i take some crome ones to, too have them powder coated.
lemme know.

Yeah I have MRT black chrome rolled tips waiting for me when i get home, there gonna look sweet

I have seen the black chrome ones and they look pretty cool but i want the flat black look...

check out some charcoal grill paint or some hi-temp engine paint

You'll just have to hunt around in the phone book unless you want to use high temp paint.

run rich for about 2 weeks... they'll coat themselves black....

There is someone on here that does powder coating... search is busted and I can't remember who.. You can also buy them.

Anyone have any pics of what it looks like, I can't help thinking it will just look like they are dirty.

just drive around and they'll be black in no time

IMO it would just look like your tips are filthy

The MRT tips are really expensive.

They might be expensive but they are worth every penny. I bought the brushed ones and put them on yesterday. They are incredible looking and the quality is supperior to any other tip I have seen.
