When you are done, take some white touch-up paint or white spray paint and spray it in the cap. Then use a small brush to paint the icons on the a/c registers. It's a small thing but it makes the dash look great......makes it look like how a stock black dash is supposed to look.

I used SEM vinyl dye (landau black) on my my blue interior and it came out great, but painting those icons white really made it all come together.

I did that, and it turned into basically me and 4 or 5 people. You dont get a lot of answers or anything in progress threads, even though I love them!

I wouldn't use it on your steering wheel considering you'll have your hands on it so much it will rub off. I would just use any good interior cleaner/wax on it and it will look good.

that looks very nice! i love it!

what about the blue collar around the steering wheel? could you get that off and spray it black??

i love my black interior sooo much. I have white face gauge faces (i'm assuming they're overlays?) that i wanna rip out soooooooooo bad. they're like the only damn thing in the interior that's white and IMO it looks like crap. i wouldnt recommend em at all.

nice progress man

i dont have a pic of my cluster no sorry. i can try and get one tomorrow. the speedo/cluster gauges are 200mph whitefaces that the previous owner put in.

when i first drove it im like wtf 200mph....but it isnt calibrated or anything (i dont know if/how you can for 200) so when im going 70 it says 100. it pisses me off to no end.

well im glad my interior helped sway you over to the black! i've seen some nice interiors pull off the whole "accents" deal. it could end up costing $$$ if you'd try for all black.

yeah that why i was thinking grey seats...black carpet...then going and buying some vinyl(to keep it cheap) and doing some inserts on the door panels where the carpet is....im cheap..only spend $20 so far
