you got the right idea.
i gotta grab a set of these bad boys

but i do actually like black rims as long as they have a polished lip to set them off....or else they just blend right into the tire and look like spares. I've been considering black fr500's for mine....IMO, only a select few lighter colored cars can pull it off without that polished lip.

Honestly, I hate the look of black wheels on most cars. I've only seen a few cars that can pull it off.

To each his own, though.

I'm not usually one to bash, but your question is absolute idiocy. That's like asking why someone's favorite color is blue. Or why they like the taste of sushi. Hell, that's even like asking why someone likes white striped hoods. IMO multi-colored hoods FTL.

But don't worry, we don't judge you for your white striped hood like you judge us for our black wheels

Personally I love black wheels. I have had them on multiple cars, from all flat black, to gloss black with a polished lip. I am not a bling person, so anything chrome really turns me off. SO much so that I painted the emblems on my car semi flat black. Too each his own though.

black wheels are definately just a 'preference' issue...I like the contrast on my car w/ the black mirrors, molding, chin spoiler, tinted lights....there are lots of black details on the car for the wheels to blend in with...and the overall appearance becomes 'dark' and 'mean' looking (IMO)

I love the way my car looks with black rims. It all depends on the car.

Rims are kinda like exhaust in a way. I was bored of my flowmaster/custom catted h, so I went with a prochamber with magnaflows.

I was tired of my stock rims so I decided to change things up Now I have been eyeing some other rims, though they will definitely be required to wait until after the new year.

Agreed, kinda like putting saleen decals on a non saleen car. J/K

I'm actually rdy to find some better wheels for my car and take the tinted lights off.

Maybe some saleen stickers and turn it into a convertable, no?

275s fit front with no rub? And those wheels look sweet on your ride Shiro. I would trade my Bullit 18s for that set-up you have there with 17s. Who makes those wheels?

I know! I love the sound of the dumps, but hate the openings. The v6 bumper looks too boring, and there aren't any decent looking rear bumpers out there. I'm probably going to either get some 3.5" slash cut tips, or some of those Roush covers that come with their side exhaust setup.

And Zax, I'll PM you a link.

black wheels get nothing since they're too hard to see and they blend in with the wheel well too well. i think black shades such as gunmetal, hypercoat, and black chrome look nice though.

(will post boobie pics for supercharger) that kills me!!! I am a big fan of any wheel that is not silver or chrome. I just like to be different. "I wish I had an extra supercharger"

Hey at least I got you to have some fun. Yeah I know I jumped the gun with the decals before I installed the body kit, but that is why it's a project on a budget. Just one more decal needed to have everything to make an exact clone.
