So I just bought the GTS black outs for my car... My car is black so I am trying to "black out" everything on the exterior as much as possible.

Does anyone know if they sell black outs for all the other lights on the car? For instance the side blinker, or the round fog lights in the middle of the grill?

Also - do they make a "smoked" or black GT emblem for the rear of the car which sits dead center of the trunk?

Thanks!
NIck

Should look great, but probably 100 percent illegal. Check with local law enforcement if you want to avoid problems.

Emay painted his faux gas cap matte/flat black to blend in.

I think they are illegal... but oh well... better than getting a ticket for going 100 mph! (though I never go that fast )

Also - i am a volunteer fire fighter on LI and have special license plates. Cops on Long Island are usually pretty cool with leaving us alone.

That is soooooo nice! Is that the GT-500 spoiler? What are those "wings" off the the side on the fender? I just got the GT-500 spoiler on my car and those side wings on the fender would look great.

I'd like to know how that fake cap was painted without covering the lettering.

Hey guys,

Let me catch up on those questions.

The spoiler is the cervinis ducktail it is not a GT500 spoiler.

The gas cap was pianted flat back by me. I simply took my time masking the piece off. Lightly scuffed it with 1500 grit sand paper, two coats of primer with a light wet sand between and 3 coats of flat black.

Stan I normally don't I'm not the patient type, however, I couldn't very well have it chip and be an eyesore. I won't be embarking on any painting in the future, I'll be giving them to someone else. I didn't enjoy it enough to do it again.

So I've had these on my car for a few days now.... I love the way they look - but not how secure they seem to stay on.

Does anyone use front/rear blackouts by GTS? If so - do you have the same problem?

Not a problem for me anymore, my black Gt has front, rear, and side marker blackouts. The fronts and rears were coming off but i put a small square of velcro tape just inside the GTS cover and put it on and haven't a much as had a shifting in the covers since then. If you black out the fogs, you won't be able to see to drive at night with them on. Leave the fogs off and just the head lamps covered and you can see just fine.

Just use the 3M velcro on their tape, shouldn't have a problem.

Does anyone know what the velcro is called that comes with the GTS blackouts? It not normal velcro - its more of a secure lock velcro made out of plastic.

Any info is appreciated.
