My front right OEM Pirelli (235-55-zr17) blew out the sidewall at speed Sunday on the interstate. No damage to the car, which handled the event very well.

The tire had about 5/32 tread left on it, as do the other 3 tires. Overall, the tires have worn very evenly and look to be in pretty good shape. Anyone know if Pirelli would pro-rate the tire, it has 31.7K on it.

Now the question is whether to replace all 4 or just the front 2.

Any recommendations for an all season replacement? Anyone try a take-off set? Its an 05 GT Vert with 17's.

No they won't. The only tire manufacturer that has a road hazard warranty is Continental for 1st 12 months 12k miles. If the tire was less then 1 year old and around 2 - 3 32's tire companies will issue what is called a "good will" discount which means if the tire dealer is willing to accept a discount off the selling price passed on to you and manufacturer will reinburse the dealer. The issue is your tire are off a 6 year old car so they may be around 7 years old depending on production. Tire companies do not recognize tires over 4 years old, according to safety mandates put forth by "big brother" government tires more then 4 years old should be replaced regardless of condition.
