Blew Up Tranny Now Clutch Feels Way Different.

Blew up my tranny lost 3 4 and 5th gear. Replaced the tranny but the clutch feels way different now. It engages way higher feels way lighter now too kinda and just not as smooth. Also feels like it has less power. guys who put the tranny in said it looked okay but I think they were just looking at the pressure plate. Could it be any other mechanisms other that the clutch itself like the cable or quadrant?

Actually to give an update. I put my car in first this morning before I drove it and did the old self adjuster trick. By that I mean I had it in first with the car off, pulled the pedal towards me with my foot heard it click then slowly pushed it in. That’s never worked for me but this time it actually did and I actually heard the click. So to the people that say it doesn’t work.. yes it does!

Until it doesn't, aluminum quadrant, factory cable and firewall adjuster when you can afford it is a great investment.
