Blinking headlights

Does anyone remember the fog light/ headlight problems the 1984 1/2 GT 350 had? There was a recall (so I have read), but I can't find out what the fix is. Now, even with the fog lights removed, the headlights either go out, or start blinking after 3 - 5 minutes. I sure hope someone can help.

My 92 is doing this too. I have no fog lights in the car and I replaced the multifunction switch.. 10 minutes into the drive the headlights blink off. Getting ticked off cause I just bought a 90 dollar part I didn't need.. anyways.. TTT for ya.

putting relays on lows, highs and fogs (if applicable) is always good. takes a ton of load off the Hdlt and MF switches, and the column wiring.

from a bunch of searching on other boards is seams if they are blinking on and off most people say it's the headlight switch on the dash.

We're going to try the main light switch, and if that works add relays. The fog lights have already hit the bin.
