Determining the flow dynamics and ratio is not easily feasible. Since you'll have a tune, you'd be better off using something like a LMAF, which has tons of R&D behind it.

You never mentioned being turbocharged. But yes, they have been used in blow-through configurations, though they peg early (likely under 400 hp). You might want to talk to your tuner to see what he would like or recommends.

You better buy a PMAS blow through meter.
This plan of yours to build your own meter sounds like blown head gaskets waiting to happen.
To put it bluntly, it's a terrible idea.

If you can afford a turbo, you can afford the right meter.

PMAS ProTube 3" MAF Meter

BTW, if you use this meter with the right injectors, you won't need any chip or tuning.

Not trying to hijack, but I'm curious about those blow through meters. Would they work in a N/A application if only because I'd plan on EVENTUALLY running boost?

Building your own MAF is nothing new... several have done it with great success...
Seems to me, that if you have the time and tuning equipment it's a possibility...

That would be great!I havent seen the inside of you,but if it's just a hollow pipe with the sencer in it it should be a breeze. Then my tuner can just tune it to my set up?UNLESS it's not that easy?peace
