So i was driving home from school and i get about 5 minutes from my house and all of a sudden cylinder 3 starts missing. When i get home and look i have a blown coil and the plug is just sitting in the head, i didnt even need to thread it out. Is my head f***ed? Also whats a recomended gap for plugs on a stock 2002 gt because the others look as though they were never gapped.

are you saying that a new plug will not thread in ? what does the thread on the spark plug that fell out look like ? where the plugs ever changed ? could a wrong plug been put in? crazy things happen , I have no e-brake the part is gone & have gotten no help so far , wish you luck .....in your case the head is alluminium there could be a kit with a set-up to retap & install you will have to do your homework......... how many miles on the motor ?
