blown motor swap to a 67?

I came across an 89' or 90' mustang motor stroked to a 331 with a blower on it. It's putting out 500hp. The blower is on the passengers side and sticks out pretty far. Think that motor would have enough clearance to be dropped into my 67'?

What blower? I assume you mean a centrifugal. Is is a Paxton? Vortec? Procharger? Powerdyne?

I have a Vortech supercharger on my 68. It is a tight fit but you can do it without toooooo many mods. You will need a custom inlet pipe, you may have clearance problems with the alternator on the strut rod, modify your radiator inlet and so on. Here is a pic.

Its a paxton supercharger (6-8). The high struts is what I was worried about. Thanks for the picture.

It will be a tight fit and you will have to remove the EGR spacer.

Ya don't need an EGR system on a 67! Thats the beauty of a late model mill in a classic frame! I wonder what the emissions would be on the same motor w/o the emissions crap?
