Components will always sound better than 2 or 3 ways.

I'd recommend getting an amp, also if you plan on running components. Components don't always sound better than coaxils, but they usually have higher powerhandling and you can get much better imaging if they're installed correctly. If you want loud, then I'd recommend the Viper 550.2: http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/DEI36055 with a Soundstream Edge amp: http://www.millionbuy.com/souega2300.html

I'd also recommend the CDT CL-61's that are on sale at thezeb.com, but the tweeter will be more laid back than the viper's. For the rears, I'd get some CDT CL-5X's http://www.thezeb.com/caraudio/CDT_Audio_FullRange.html and run them off the HU. When you install the comps in the front, be sure to install some sound deadener to the door panels, and seal up all the holes. You'll get a lot more midbass out of the fronts, and it'll cut down on the vibrations you might get with running some decent power to the components.

Well, the 300x2 amp is really 150x2 RMS, which is what you'd be running it at. The components will be run off this amp, while the rear speakers will be run off the deck. For the adapters, I can send you a template: http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=400890&highlight=speaker+bracket or you can trace the stock 6x8 on some hardboard and make a cutout for the 5.25" and the tweeter.
