Blue GT seats???

Is there such a thing? The GT registry I looked at doesn't even list blue as an interior color. Did they make them special at one point for Coupes or LX hatch between 87-89? Have seen a set that supposedly came out of an 87 Coupe with blue interior, have the leg bolsters as well. They look like stock tweed GT seats, not re-covered. I ask for clarification because the pics aren't the best quality and I'm not convinced. I'll try to find the CL ad again.

Hmmm. Can't say that I've ever seen a GT with blue interior. That don't mean there isn't any. Would definitely be unique.

They came from a turbo cupe t bird most likely

I had a turbo coupe interior in my 66 coupe..

1990coupe has a completely blue stock interior (seats included) in his car... maybe he'll chime in soon.

GTs never came with blue seats. Blue interiors came in LX cars with the base model seats.

More than likely, they came from a cougar or thunderbird

Agreed. I have seen blue in the LX cars. I almost bought a white 4cyl lx with blue interior for my daughter. I thought it was nice but she disagreed. Lol

Here's the CL link. Bad pic I think as I said. He says blue/gray. I stand corrected, he didn't say out of a coupe, so def must be out of a GT. He also said someone who looked at them said they were too blue for them. I think he's confusing them with the smoke grey of the 87-89 cars. If he saw next to a true blue LX interior he'd be straightened out.

I think its just the picture, because from the side they look pretty gray. I would say they are gray tweed GT seats. Mabye somebody dyed them?
