So today, I don't know if it's a glitch or whatever with the connectivity of the blue tooth in my 2015 GT but every time click the Bluetooth stereo button on the screen it doesn't open up and connect to my phone to allow me to play music via Bluetooth BUT it will work when I make calls with my phone without an issue! Very weird.. Has anyone experienced this? To play music I need to connect it to the USB port. I know sounds like a whatever issue but still this crap should work on a new car.

You should go back through the instructions in your owner's manual.

Generally there are two way to connect a smartphone to Bluetooth. One is data and audio end. This is the portion that reads your texts, makes calls, answers calls etc...

The other is A2DP, where music is streaming. They are usually split into two different screens or the you have the option of setting up one versus the other. Most folks connect both services through default.

Depending on the age of your phone and the version of Bluetooth it's running, your phone may be having difficulty doing both. If there's an update available for your phone you could try it. Otherwise, it may be a hardware limitation of your device. If you have a buddy with a newer phone, try it and see how it acts. The other thing that you can try is connecting ONLY the A2DP portion in Bluetooth setup on your head unit and remove all others.

hey everyone ! So just in case you run into this, I figured it out. I simply reset the my ford touch to factory settings (before doing this remove your SD card)!!!Took like 2 min to reset and then reconnected my phone and other devices !

ON 2011's there was a fuse you could remove (#15) under the passenger side dash, back under the glove box. I remember having to do this every now and then with that one. Is Microsoft, you have to reboot it every now and then.
