Now that the league manger can adjust the points settings I think some tweeking of it next year would make it more fun.

I changed the league I run so that the QB gets 6 points for a TD like the WR and RB do. Why should the RB or WR get 6 points for a TD while the guy that threw it only gets 4. I also changed it so receivers get 2 points per reception and QB's get 2 points per pass completed.

I also made other changes as well. Over all it makes the scoring much higher over all. Such as on my other team I have Brees and he got me 68 points while in this one he put up 12 points. Just a suggestion for next year, just makes a chance for some big score games

Our league the receivers/backs get 1 point per reception, which is standard with any PPR league. Last year we didn't play PPR. I didn't notice that the QB touch downs were at 4 vs 6 or I would have changed it. Points per completion aren't good, you could have a guy throwing screens for a loss all day and be the highest scoring QB.

EDIT: I just looked, and I can still edit the scoring so, after week 1 is over I can change the QB touchdowns to 6 instead of 4 as long as nobody objects.

You might have a a few plays where a player gets neg yards on a reception but more times then not any reception is positive yards. If a player kept getting neg yards he wouldnt be thrown to anymore to begin with. Just making the point that its much more fun and interesting VS the standard scoring system. Considering this is done just for fun I figured it would be cool to try something different instead of the same old thing year to year.

We aren't on standard scoring. It is PPR (Point Per Reception).

ohh Ok I see now. Another thing that might be a good idea to change is the FG points settings. its 3 points all the way from 0 yards to 49 yards. I figurd each scoring section from X yards to X yards should have its on scoring designation.

Who on here am I actually playing this week? I don't know who Slayers / "Sean" is. Thanks.

(Maybe we go back and update post #1 with who everyone is?)

Judging by this post....

I'd say that's who it is... :nice:

As for updating the first post, everyone used their SN names, except:
timeless2: O-town Ocelots
Jagerbeast: Slayers
Co's kid (who doesn't have a SN name): the classic spankies
