Here we go again on the verge of another NFL season and with that comes fantasy football :nice:

Hope to have some returning players this year along w/ some new faces. I have a title to defend so who's up for the challenge of knocking off the first Stangnet Fantasy Football Champion :D

For those of you who want to play go to www.nfl.com The name of the league is STANGNET FORUMS the Password is MUSTANG. Draft day for your players is September 1st so organize your team before then. You may find another team named STANGNET don't join that one I messed up on it it has draft day of 8-10 so I'm trying to delete that one. Lets hope for another great and fun season!!

Nice, did you play last year I cant remember? Hopefully by the end of the month we will have a full 12 team roster. I set the draft date (9-1) close to the start of the season w/ a few days to spare for any last min changes that may be needed to be done.

What was your team last year, how did you do?

I'm going to give this thread a week or so and if its lacking in the number of teams we need for the league I'll make a thread over on the SN95 Forums.

i'd play if i knew anything about nfl football. i cant wait until they have ncaa fantasy leagues...

Its real easy, all you have to do is set up your players in order of how you want them drafted on draft day and then make sure you sub out who ever has a bye week. Other then that its cake. There is a generic list of players and how they are ranked, you can just leave it that way if you want or move players up and down for where you wanted them drafted for you. If you want your best pick up to be a RB set your top 3 RB's the way you want them and set your RB's to be drafted first and chances are you will get someone in your top 3, that's just an example.

Its pretty fun really, you don't have to know a ton about the NFL players b/c there rankings are all there so you can see how they are projected to do. The only thing you really have to keep on top of as far as your team is subbing out your players on the bye weeks and subbing out any players that may have injuries. Other then that the scoring and all that is done on its own on game day. Its fun to watch a game your players are playing in and see your teams score go up as they earn points for you. Its pretty quick to.

For an example there was a guy who played last year, those of us who also did remember him. He had good draft picks big one being Tom Brady but after week 1 he never updated anything on his team, injuries players or bye week players and he still kicked ass week in and week out so that goes to show you that w/ even an unmaintained team some people still do well.

You are also allowed to trade players and pick up free agent players.
