So I have some friends in Baltimore that are doing some mods for a guy on an 85 stang. The problem that they are having is that they pulled 12 bolts out and the body still wont lift off the frame. Are they missing some bolts or is part of the body welded? I have heard that some of the older stangs needed to be taken off at an angle. Let me know if anyone might have some insight. Thanks.

lmao it's a unibody, they can remove every single nut and bolt with no such luck of lifting the body off the frame...if this is for real those guys have no business working on a car

This isn't a Mustang, but this is what the "frame" of a unibody car looks like. This is as far down as you can strip it. There is no "frame" to take the body off of.

Okay thanks for all the info. I have never had to do anything this extensive on a stang before. They do a lot of custom work at a shop in Baltimore. Some guy wants to spend about 50K on an 85 and a few newer guys in the shop are working on it. The customer wants full video, sound, engine, tranny, suspension, etc. I will relay the info. Thanks for the help.
