I won't even hazard a guess on how long it will take me until it's ready for paint, but it's getting there.

I have the front fenders and 'glass fitting fairly nice from the doors forward, so I am going to start filling and blocking the doors through to the fascia in sections

Yeah I am lucky to be able to use my mom's garage. She doesn't need it, and likes the company when I come by to work on the car.

I found out that I have the blocks turned the wrong way, but I got it up there, by running the floor jack on blocks.
The car is actually not that heavy right now, I can lift the whole front by hand!

where did you get the nose from? I bought one from maier racing just wondering how you mounted yours cause mine didnt come with any studs to mount it

I got mine from a local guy called Brownlows performance. I wish I found out about him, when I first started buying my fiberglass. I got the tail-light panel, hood, and fascia (with studs) from him. His price was competitive, and he uses extra steel reinforcing in the f/g hood to reduce warping. He adds some carbon fiber around the hood catch for strength.

He is a mustang enthusiast. He does a GT-40 body as well. I think his buisiness is booming so he does the mustang stuff as a filler, when the shop is not to busy. I know the summer time, so have to be patient

I don't know if he ships out of the country though.

It looks like it is coming together very well. Looks good.

You do have the concrete blocks turned the wrong way. The blocks could crumble the way you have them. Your car body doesn't weigh very much but I'd be afraid to crawl underneath it like that.

Looks great!! Please dont tell us you are going to paint it gray....

Nope the epoxy primer I have is a green/grey colour. Maybe under the chassis I will paint a light grey or red oxide.

I had the final three colour choices sprayed on the old trunk;

The one on the left is a fine metal flake and has some colour changing properties, the center colour is a pearl, the right has a much heavier metal flake.
