Good lord, the gaps on the new mustangs are horrendous - I thought the Challenger was bad.

They make new pistons every day, so why worry?

Drove a s197 on Wednesday. In a word...AWESOME. not a GT, but the fit and finish appeared fantastic. The interior is beautiful and for a daily driver, 300 ponies will move that car just fine. Handling is solid and precise and even the cloth seats felt supportive and comfortable. I am 6' 2" and actually moved the seat forward a couple of inches. Had plenty of head room too!

^ S197 is the 2005-2014 designation. If you drove a '15 you drove an s550 .Rican I looked at a couple of '15s. I didn't notice anything unusual about the body gaps. They didn't look any larger then gaps on other cars and they seemed to be uniform width. What did u see?

What really stood out to me was the trunk - the left and right side were off about a quarter of an inch (wider on the right than left) - it just irked me because it was that noticeable. I saw a few on the lot where the trunk lid wasn't flush with the bumper, it jutted out some and a few others where the hood was just off.

I'll stop by on my way home on Monday and grab some pictures - might be just a new run issue but I would've expected a bit better coming out of Flat Rock.

My humble apologies for my lack of knowledge regarding Mustang models. It was a 2015 V6.
