Does anyone know or tried to pull off the gt piecies of a gt body kit and put on the saleen kit? The saleen body kits say for an lx, but curious if I pulled of my gt kit would it fit? Thanks for any info.
You'd have to replace both front and rear bumpers, and all body side mouldings as well with LX stuff.. And, once you remove your GT side skirts you'll have to remove the riveted metal mounting clips that hold them to the fenders and quarter panels. Then you'd need to weld/fill the holes in the panels because the Saleen stuff won't completely cover the holes left by the clips.
Long story short,,,,,,,,,it ain't worth it.
