Has anybody figured out any solution when the body leans to the drivers side. Mine was leaning about1/2 inch. I was told weak springs, so I buy springs and struts.results in a nice ride with about 1/4 inch of lean. I want a level car,anybody have suggestions

same here....my car looks like ive got a small army chillin on the driverside. mines about 3/4 an inch, and i used spring spacers to help, but with them im at 1/2" lower.

my car was never in any accidents of any kind. anything else cause it?

Hitting a curb can do it, and that's not really considered an "accident"

Nick is right. launching it hard on stickies or spirited runs can even tweak it as well.

some guys have tried to true the lean back up while doing SFC's - i would be cautious of doing that (otherwise, you might not be able to open your doors to leave afterwards).

I am working on this problem as well with doing the standard stuff ie new springs and shocks. That only mildly corrected the problem but didnt fix it. I have also been told old rubber bushings or bad (front or rear) control arms may be the cause. Going to replace the front control arms soon cause the ball joints r going bad anyways so I'll post and let you all that have this problem know if that fixes it or not. Lates

I wish that was the problem. I called a body shop this morning and they said could be control arms,torque boxes etc. So I will take it there and find out. I WANT IT LEVEL

pu t a 1/4 in metal spacer above the spring where the lean accurs??? Justa thought.

have this prob to... about 1 inch.... i went with tork box reinforcement:

and boxed upper control arms,with polyurethane bushings everywhere...

Global West sells spacers that go under the rear driver's side coil spring to pick that corner up. Sounds like a good idea, but my results were less than pleasing. It did not really even things out, but just picked the whole she-bang up higher. The passenger side remained higher than the driver's side, and it just gave me a funky (or funkier) tilt. I'm thinking maybe Granatelli lower control arms with the adjustable spring perches might allow me to both raise one side and lower the other, and really force a shift on the rear suspension. But I also know for sure that mine results from a tweaked unibody, having had it crunched a couple of times (through no particular fault of my own).

The reason why those don't work, is because the rear lean is actually caused by something from the front end components. It may not look it, but that lean is coming from the front suspension. ALso, been there, done that with the height adjustable rear control arms. Don't waste your cash, it won't work. the unibody and rear is too stiff. Raise/lower one end and the other follows. it's impossible to adjust corners with those, it'll adjust the entire back half up/down.
