The engine makeover is done.

I have a guy lined up to paint my car, 65 coupe, but would like to make some body style modifications. Would appreciate some feedback on the following:

1. Front valance. I'm thinking og going with the 'Shelby' style with the cut out behind the licence plate position. I want to retain the front chrome bumper. Are these available in steel and fiberglass? So far I've only seen fiberglass. Ive read some guys complaints about fiberglass valance fit, who are the best fiberglass vendors for front valances.

2. Shelby style hood scoop. I've looked at some fiberglass replacement hoods. Are these scoops generally functional or are they closed to airflow? Has anyone fitted a hood scoop to an existing flat hood with success? How did it look? Was it functional.

Thanks in advance.

Would also appreciate if anyone has some shots of their cars with these mods.

I have the "RR valance that retains the bumper and the fit was pretty good,I think it was from Branda

The hood scoop can be functional or non,it depends if you cut a hole in the hood.
