bogging down

my 98 gt started bogging and surging after i drove through standing water(we have had a lot of rain). we dont have a distributor to get water under so is there anywhere we can get water in or is this just a cloged fuel filter that was just conincidence that it started acting up at this time.

you dont have a cold air intake running into your fender do you? my friend drove through water and got water in his engine, he called it "hydro locked", but his car didnt run at all afterwards, he had to get a new engine
