Bolt Sizes in Rear Spoiler

the bolts or nuts are not stripped the stud that protrudes from the bottom of the spoiler has broken loose within the spoiler and is turning at that point instead of the nut turning and coming off the stud the stud is turning within the spoiler this usually happens if you over tighten the nuts holding the spoiler on. the only way i can think of to remove the bolt and stud is to try using some needle nose vise grips and pull bolt and stud out of the spoiler from under the trunk... and to and you will probably need new bolts and studs when removed and a good epoxy to hold the studs....goodluck and post results...

buy some threaded rod at lowes or and any building supply store... you can buy the threaded rod and nuts cut the threaded rod to size and insert the threaded rod into the stud hole on the bottom of the wing and epoxy them in....it does'nt have to be the exact factory diameter or size just as long as it fits thru the holes in the trunk you will probably want to use a slightly larger diameter threaded rod than the stud that was removed so when it is screwed in the threads will catch and cut into stud hole use a good epoxy in the stud hole and allow it to setup and harden before installation and do not over tighten.....

or you can look thru the specialty bolts at lowes they should have something similar that you can use with some good epoxy....

If you cut the threaded stud/rod to size and insert into the hole at the bottom of the wing and exopy them in how will that make it stay down when you try to install the wing back on? the other one has threaded rod goes into bottom of wing then like a circle in the middle of the threaded rod and then threaded rod again. the circle is so is hold the stud in place btwn bottom of wing and hatch lid where wing gets bolted down to.
