Bolt trivia ..... motor mount

What’s the correct bolt size .....motor mounts bolts 7/16 14 .75 or 1/2 13 .75.......

Trick question so why are these ARP bolts bigger ..... somethings weird I got to do a little bit more research ....The 7/16 was sitting in a loose hole stripped.......

But the ARP bolt is bigger than the 7/16...... i’m going to the hardware store when I get off work ... To measure....

That doesn’t look like the oe bolt.

here’s one of my oem bolts. 7/16-14 and about 7/8” long.

I ordered that same ARP kit and it should be here friday.

The ARP was the correct bolt..... The other bolt use the same size socket but the shank was smaller it was stuck in my engine for about 15 years ? So I’m going to chase the hole and see if the ARP will do the job......

I had my engine built about 15 years ago and the guy put the wrong bolt in.... they were all very similar .... but as we now know one was different
