So I was a bookstore yesterday and saw a new one. They had a little display with various "Motorbooks" on it.

I thumbed through it and it looks like a good book. It had EFI conversions, cam changes etc. If your book store has it. I'd suggest taking a gander. I didn't get to far, as I got whiff of Sh** eminating from my 6 mo old's diaper and had to split.

Maybe this should be in "Talk". But as the book provides tech I put it here. Maybe someone has the book and can give a review.

It's pretty good. It gives relative cost, time required and mechanic skill level required for various upgrades and projects. One thing to keep in mind, though. The descriptions are a general overview. If you're going to do one of the bigger projects in the book, don't use it as your only 'how-to' resource.

It is ploeasent looking, but it is far short on detail. Also, the difficulty scale is not consistent. I think, if I remember right, it rated front coil spring changover more difficult than an upper control arm swap. Well, you have to remove the coild springs to do that, so how could it be less difficult than coil springs?

I was unimpressed.
