Book banning?

"...and don't care to put forth the effort honestly..."
yeah. Last, er, ah #18 and the whole topic - it's 'off' for a car site / me actually I guess.
I wish ya spoke to him limp, as a friend (well, only an aquaintence I bet. But by doing this U may have become a friend) and heard more deeply abt the situation B4 during and after that nite. W/assumptions we're only in our own head, dont geta wider pic.

I think I'm getting the gist of your points here. I'm not sure why there is such a push back on critical race theory because it's just that, a theory. Why not include it in advance discussion on race? We can only move forward when we understand where each of us is coming from.

As far as racial overtones of limps posts, they speak for themselves. People of his ilk don't care to try and understand.

"...Last er ah... What's so hard to understand...."
nuttin, just searchin for words (out loud). Sorry if U R offended, pardon me~

it is not a 'theory' buta label some right of center put on history being taught. A way to capture the narrative. Compartmentalize a piece they'd rather not hear (masks, the narrative on world history). Example:
denim, indigo the work pant - was a piece of clothes for laborers. A low class cloth till the 2nd war & after. Rebel w/o a Cause, bikers, etc. So Hollywood sorta claimed it away from those workin the dirty jobs others wouldn't - w/the cowboy. Now U have acid washed Kardasians in them. Lee, Levies, Wrangler etc want that, not cotton pickers, or Black young men tending live stock. Schools want buckles on shoes and pilgrim hats, Pocahantus & JS for their children not the facts of slavery & the whole economics of the Middle Passage (ppl for sugar cane for rum for money for ppl for cane, etc).

BYW : It’s Pocahontas and John Rolfe, unless you believe in Disney and Smith’s fictional tale.
Please do not mix up my ancestors. :)
