Glad I don't have a credit card or I would be doing some serious damage...
(8) Summit Racing COP's: $279.60
(8) NGK TR-6 spark plugs: $15.92
(1) MSD Digital Window Switch: $115.70
(2) Nitto 555R Drag Radials 315-35-17: $369.90
Total from Summit Racing: $781.12.
(1) Harris Speed Works Sudden Impact Wet Nitrous Kit (single nozzle): $399.99
(1) -4AN line purge kit w/intallation kit: $79.98
(1) Fuel Pressure Saftey Switch: $49.99
Total from Harris Speed Works: $561.69
If I could tune for nitrous with my Diablosport, freebie. If not, add in $250 for a great nitrous tune from our local speed shop.
Grand total of $1,342.81.
If my Diablosport doesn't work for a tune: $1,592.81...
That would keep me rather happy for a while.
There are other places I could spend that money on the car, if I don't fall asleep and get even more bored I might make another list...
But damn, think about it... for that price, I would be really hard pressed buy new cams w/ springs, retainers, seals, install them myself (need to purchase tools) and get a dyno tune for the $1,500... nitrous really is the king of bang for the buck!!!
The other end of the spectrum would be replacing worn out suspension parts, and some appearance mods (new headlights and a chin spoiler).
Wish I'd hit the lotto...
So I paid $7,800 for the car.
So far I have rougly $2,400 in parts/mods in it.
So total investment of around $10,200.
Add in the above of $1,342 and that brings it to... $11,542 or so.
Can't buy a Mach (yet) or 03/04 Cobra for that price. If I went the nitrous route, i'd hope I would hit mid-12's at least, faster than most mild-bolt on Mach's, and right around or JUST quicker than stock 03/04 Cobra's.
So when the nitrous pop's my motor then im down the hole for that... plus my clutch will need to be replaced soon, regardless of what route I take... Flywheel while i'm at it, oh... and I'm sure the old T-45 wouldn't like the nitrous too much.
Man, I need to occupy my time some other way...

. I can't stand chevys but they are pretty fast. With your little list ya got there you'll be raping him, throw in some suspension and it'll stang FTW all day while he blows off his tires. But remember this also; Bowties are for little boys!
