borgeson box

The piping that goes to the super charger is custom made. Im only running around 8lbs of boost for now. i have a blow thru carb made from the carb shop. the fuel system is -8an with a mechanical boost referenced carter pump. I wanna up the boost but scared that my fuel system cant handle it. My wideband reads in full boost at 11.5 to 12.0. The car pulls pretty hard, ive ran best at 115 in the 1/4 @ 12.6. i know there's more in it, i just dont launch as hard as i should to cut my 60ft. down. My best 60 foot was a 2.0. my ignition sysytem is msd6al with boost box. I think my total timing is set to 32 but with the box it knocks it down to 24 for total timming @ full boost.ive been driving the car for about 2 years setup like this and its been a damn dependable car. My heads are trick flow (old school style) and im running a flat tappet cam. The intake is a wieiand excellerator.

yeah, the intake side of the supercharger has the filter. I had a similar setup like urs, but i went down to the bottom with a flex hose. It looked like **** so i took it off. The supercharger sucking in header heat = big power loss. So if you come up with an idea let me know..lol..

I have larger lines to and from the tank with an inline pump. I also have a boost referenced regulator and the S/c pulley is 3.3". and I used the drain on the tank as a return. My ignition box is a MSD Digital 7 with a MAP sensor which is programmable and its mounted under the dash.
I have been driving it since 2006 like this with no issues other than the fuel lines which need to upgraded to cure a lean condition if I stay hard on the throttle.

i was thinking if that would work for a return. did you just drain it and attach a hose to it? didnt tap it out to make it bigger? what size fuel lines and what pump are you using? i need to go electric.

one more question: what did you do with the pick up at the tank? is it still stock? or did you buy one with a bigger pick up?

Yea, I installed a new tank that had the drain and used it with a 90degree fitting but your right about the size. I will have to remove the sending unit and enlarge that opening as well as the drain/return. How did you handle the larger opening for the sending unit? I had a fuel injection pump but even with the return line it was dead heading too much and would shut off so I am running a Holley Red or Blue and other than the vibrations (rubber mounting is needed)
I am going to order the fuel lines today and wondered what you used..Aluminum, braided, or that push on stuff?
