hey guys, its been awhile since ive posted but I've got a friend with an 04 shadow gray mach 1...and he's wanting the borla stinger mufflers, but likes his stock rolled tips and doesnt need borla tips. does anyone know how to get ahold of the stinger mufflers without buying the full cat back?
man, i searched and asked all over this exact same question. the best answer i came up with is to call summitt racing. tell them you have the cat-back already but you need new mufflers for whatever reason. supposedly they can get them for you. i never tried bc i gave up and bought some SLP LMII's and they are very comparable to the stingers
have you heard the LMII's in person or just the LMI's.
i've had both and its a night and day difference. the II's a VERY similar to the stingers but dont gurgle as much on decelleration. with your O/R pipe they will sound very mean.
Borla or SLP, you cant go wrong. i'd stay away from the LMI's w/ an O/R pipe, but the LMII's are perfect with my O/R X.
a friend of mine who drives a mach with bassani o/r X and the stingers gave me some big props on the exhaust, after i woke her up when she was sleeping in her car on campus.
