Both of my windows are sqeaking when they go up its really ear piercing now and i want to fix it.

What can i do to resolve this issue?

remove door panels and grease the window tracks if that doesnt fix it while the panels are off operate windows and see if you can locate where the squeak is coming from the window slides up and down against a pad this pad may be worn and need replacing.....

you might need to replace the door belt molding weatherstrip, or the weatherstrip around the window frame, or both...

they came from the factory with a felt coating that and has worn away over time, your moldings are squeeking like new sneakers on a freshly refinished basketball court.

maby some sand or grit in the felt....but try what Bill302 said aswell...or an easy way would be to go to a rust check or Krown and have them drill a small hole bt the bottom of the boor and stick the oil spray rod in your door and soak the hell out of it.

A quick fix that has worked for me is to take a can of WD-40, attach the "straw" sprayer, and spray it down between the molding seal and the window glass. Then bring it down and back up a few times, repeating as necessary with the WD-40.

You'll need to clean the window when done (likely will have streaks on it from WD-40 and any grit loosened up).

Worked wonders for me.

Nope. For one, you could clean your window with WD-40. It breaks down dirt/grime, and wipes away fairly clean. (I wouldn't recommend it, but you COULD).

Just clean the window with a good cleaner (read "not amonia based") and there will not be any glare/streaks.

I have no A/C now, so windows go up and down a lot and the noise is gone thanks to WD-40.

As we've said, WD-40, wax windows, etc. Sounds odd maybe, but it does work.

That's your best budget method. Otherwise, spend the money on replacement parts.

I tried WD-40 already. now the noise or wahtever is starting to scratch my tint which is real bad. my tint had long scratches in straight lines all on the window. i hate it. its starting to really piss me off. i took the door panel off and used the WD 40 on the window tracks and worked for 3 days or so and started up again. theres all sort of sh it on my window from the inside now and it won't come off with any window cleaner.

eww dont use wd40, the glass guy that replaced my windows said to use glass cleaner or water to lubricate the rubber/metal when installing the new weatherstrip. he also said to use silicone spray on the rubber where it touches the glass, only on the sides, not on the top. i made that mistake and had to replace mine again. silicone will stay around longer than wd-40. its also good for keeping your door seals from sticking to the door.
