Bought a new Mustang a few days ago. My new Stang is a original 71 Mustang 429 CJ-R with 4 speed tranny. All Matching Numbers ! and lots of options

Wow, congratulations on your rare find - especailly with the combination of 429 and toploader! It's very difficult to find a Mustang for sale with 4spd toploader!

I learn something new every day. I though the only 429s in Mustangs were the Boss. Really nice find.

theres a vert mach 1 for sale near me unless its just a mach1 clone

Nope. I helped restore one of these big '71's. I did the electrical restoration. Was a truly huge boat with huge long NACA hood that looked like the landing deck on the USS Enterprise. Just like the Mach I shown except it was yellow with black accents. It was a beastly car to drive (automatic). You could put it in gear and the rear tires would immediately start turning on smooth dry concrete (at idle). After a few blocks of driving it I was happy to get in my SB powered '65; it just seemed to fit on the road better. I doubt that an '80's Lincoln is much less a car than that '71 Mach!

It's a clone, they never made a mach 1 vert of any year.
