This is my gun. Also known as the Canon. H&K (Heckler & Koch) USP .45 compact.

Also have a concealed weapons permit and frequent gun ranges all over Florida. I have to carry when I'm on the road. Its saved me on two occasions (almost jacked twice).

Carry it???It's one thing to protect yourself and family when your at home but to carry it along when you leave the house seems like a problem waiting to happen.Everybody loses their cool once in a while from the punk ricer cutting you off to your girlfreind's/wife's exboyfreind talkin smack at the bar.Having a gun in your pocket when that happens sound like trouble. The way you guys are talking it sounds like your expectin to have to use deadly force on someone.Just my 02 dont wana piss any of you guy's off though.LOL

I don't disagree with the concealed weapons, and actually can see why some would want to carry them.

But being robbed at gun pointwould be the LAST time you would ever have to worry about carrying your gun. Why would you pull out a gun on someone who has a gun pointed right at you? That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. You do not know if they have the intent to kill that day, or are just trying to get some fast cash, a risk I would certainly not be willing to take over whatever is in my wallet.

EDIT: BDAWK pretty much beat me to it.

My father-in-law owns a snap-on business and with the amount of tools and cash he has...he has carried a gun for years as some of the shops are in a bad area.

I realy dont see the point for myself though...just use it for shooting and in the RARE instance something MIGHT happen. I would rather have it and not ever need it, than the one time need it and not have it.

same thing as said before...shoot to kill. Hell were I grew up pulling into the wrong driveway in the sticks would be cause to have a gun of some kind pulled on you possibly. Not from parinoid people...just no need/reason to be there unless it was a mistake and then people just got the Fahq outa there. Last thing you need is some deadbeat you made an even more worthless piece of crap sue you. If need be keep a knife that does not match any others in your house around to put in his dead hand.

Hes saying that if someone is holding u up at gun point, and u go to pull a gun out, u will end up dead. This isnt the movies, its real life.

and i didn't mean im gonna take out the gun when he is pointing it at my face. even though ill bust his ass the second he turns around. once you get robbed like that caring one makes u feel more safe, and less vulnebro. and i asked if you ever been robbed at gun point because if you have, you would know were i would be coming from, and understand why u would want to carry one.

.45 acp is just the caliber and cartridge name. USP and CDP are model names, just like a Ford GT or 500. The USP is made by HK and CDP is by Kimber.

Everyone has there own reasons for carring a gun.

Just remember a 45 is hard to conceal.
