Lately the speedometer needle has not been steady. It has been wiggling around the speed the car is at and the when you hit a bump the needle will hit 0 mph and bounce back to where it was at. Would this be a problem with a fuse or sensor? Or just some simple little part that needs to be replaced?

Sounds like a loose wire to me.

Check the speed sensor on the tranny and the wires on the back of the cluster. Id put my money on the speed sensor though.

Like $30. But its probably just a wire.

Actually to me it sound like the little motor that runs your speedo needle is taking a crap on itself. Mine was like that for a while. I took it out adjusted it (the little magnetic tips) and it was fine for a while then it got bad again and i took it out and so on untill now i just ignore it and I know how fast I am going by rpm and gear. Till I get around to going to a junk yard and getting that little motor to replace mine.

I always had a problem with the speedo gear getting stripped, but it was the crappy...23 tooth I believe?
