BOV info questions?

I'm looking to get a blow off valve and want some suggestions.


1- If money was not an issue which one would i get? where would i get it? why? and what does it sound like?

1. buy retail from your local speed shop and get an SSQ or greddy type-s (type-r if you go over 25psi).

2. eBay and get 1g eclipse and crush the top down a little in a vise to increase the spring tension or get a buddy to sit on the engine while you accelerate so when you let off the gas he can pop off your intake tube to vent it that way

1G Eclipse BOV. I think pipe came off it too..T-Bird sounds like a bad boy .... just like Supra.When I let off gas,my buddy sitts in passenger seat, though,,,, that was funny stackz..

I love to pull up next to some rich kids in there new cars and let it off gas...pssssshhhhhhhhhhhh

It's fun. Only problem with BOV venting in atmosfere is that you can't set your car to idle like its supposed to . My T-Bird idles like crap.
I have heard abut same issues when using BOV even on MX6 GT.
