Any update on this? Which kit did you purchase? I'm strongly considering whipple when the time comes, so I want to know how everything goes during and after install.
Is that the "550hp" whipple kit that ford racing offers? Did you use the canned tune or have someone custom tune it? If you used the canned tune what do you think of it? Does that ford racing kit keep the warranty?
It's the HO, and the engine warranty is out the window... I bought it through Lethal, and I got the optional SCT custom rather than the "mail in your computer tune". The custom tune belted out 473 at the wheels, but was a little lean, richened up got me 465. My tuner said a "from the ground up tune" from him should get me a safe 500.
