Little bit of a dilemma, got the stang up and running again with the new engine. My brakelights come on when i turn the lights on, however they do not work when I depress the peddle. The turn signals also dont work, but they do light up in the guage cluster but dont flash, they stay constantly lit. I replaced my flasher under the dash (the thing that has the 2 prongs on it. Both the blinkers and the brake lights run on a fuse correct? If so does that sound like the problem? Thanks for any help.

On a second note she handles like a dream with the new suspension, all new front end, and slightly beefed up 289 Thanks again.

replace the bulb. bulbs have 2 filiments (sp). one is for brakes, one is for turn/parking. check that first

Check the operation of your brake switch too. Its a small plug that goes into a module attached right on the brake pedal. Find the pedal, and work your way up... you cant miss it. Its actually on the pushrod that goes out to the MC/booster. Take the plug out and short the wires together... that should trigger the brake lights. If its not the lights, it a faulty switch/wiring.
