I have had my mustang for years, but it has been sitting up for around 6 months with a bad tranny/exhaust problems. I have fixed everything. However I have found a new problem but I dont even know where to start diagnosing it. My brake lights arent working, when I turn the headlights on they work, but when I hit the brakes they do nothing. Also my blinkers arent working, the turn signal indicators on the dash do not work, nor do the hazard lights. Where do I start to look?

Sounds like a fuse problem, since all that stuff uses different switches. Find the fuse for the lights, and make sure it isn't blown. Also make sure there isn't any corrosion on the fuse, or on the battery posts or chassis ground points.
