I've been having major problems with my brake lights...I have a 1970 mustang coupe. When I disconnect the connector to the switch I bypassed the connector by taking a wire and connected the two ends hoping that my brake lights would turn on but they didn't...I also noticed that on the driver side rear brake wires they're exposed...there are two wires that connect to the bulb..the one with the blue and red are spliced but it's connected to the same wire,..i dont know what the owner was thinking..i'll have pictures up tonight..if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to reply back or shoot me a pm with a diagram or anything. thanks.
Also, my turn signals don't work...i was reading on a previous thread on a 65 mustang coupe and he had a problem with his turn signals and brake lights...should this problem also be prevelant in the 70? it looks as if someone had tried to pry my steering column..the turn signal just hangs down...and my car starts with no key..i was looking into getting a new ignition online but how do i take it out?
