Hi All,
This is for a 2003 V6 Mustang.

Around 3 years back, I had replaced the front drivers brake line that connects the brake hose (caliper) and the master cylinder. All was good until recently that I noticed a drop in the reservoir which is due to a leak right at the connection of the brake line and the brake hose. I tightened it a bit but it still leaks. Then I loosened it by a quarter turn and tightened it again. It still leaks. Maybe even worse now. Any help or pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks!

It is possible that the flared end on your replacement line split...remove it, wipe it down real well and inspect it with a bright light. Not completely unheard of as we tend to want to tighten things just "a bit more", stressing the flares. If it is split, you'll need another line (you could cut it and reflare it if you have the length, but my success rate is so low with double flares on steel line that I'd just go for a new piece). Happy hunting!
