Brake Noise??? U-joints???
I noticed a high pitched whine (similiar to my supercharger whine) coming from my rear end after a burn out and pass in the 1/8th. I believe it is from the rear brakes but have not looked at them yet. The whine is only heard from 5-40 mph and does not change with or without the brakes being applied. The whine is relative to speed, however, as it gets higher pitched as the speed increases. Do the rear brakes on a 98 Cobra have a wear indicator? Has anyone else experienced this problem? I do not have a line lock yet and the burnouts are ruff on the rear brakes. I have not completely ruled out the U-Joints, even though they are new. Thanks in advance.
