Alrighty guys, this problem started about 2 months ago when my brakes started squeaking so I got some new pads and rotors. But the squeaking is still here, but the thing is when I push on the breaks the squealing stops. It sounds as if something is if rubbing against the pad and when I close the caliper the squealing starts. Do you guys have any ideas as to what this noise is??

Either what he said or.....you need to lube up the slides on your caliper or it wont open fully when you get off the pedal.

No,not a wheel bearing problem. Definately anti-rattle clips.

Is the squeak from the front or rear?

If the rear, make sure the slide pins can move freely. If one is seized, it will put constant pressure on the rotor in a way that may cause a squeal
