my brakes suck major ass, and its time for new pads anyway (has been for a while so its prolly time for rotors too) but my question is whats a good brake pad for everyday driveing and occasional track use? preferably one that wont melt my rotors but at the same time wont cake my wheels in 5 minutes of city traffic

Happy with Hawk. Though there's a bit of squeak at times. Nothing some spray can't take care of.

Some dust, but not too bad. You're looking at around $70 or so for the front set, and around $50-60 for the rears.

Save for the Cobra upgrade. That's probably my next toy, too.
