Sticking with 4 lug mind you

Whats the difference between 2.3 and 5.0 brakes?

Why does the differance make it diffacult to upgrade brakes to rear disk.

How can I upgrade my brakes to svo 2 piston front calapers and the ssbc rear disk and not run into problems with the differences that the 2.3 and 5.0 have and keep my 14in rims?

well, the 4 cyl stangs have smaller disks, calipers and hubs than the GT stangs, so going with any of that I do not think you will be able to keep your 14 in rims

now going to disk on the rear, thtas a whole diff kettle of fish, start with you'll need a diff combo. valve and E-brake cables, and if you swap to a 88TC rear your 14 inch rims will not clear the calipers at all , this is assuming that they are factory spacing rims

Why are you set on keeping your 14" wheels?

For starters, you can't upgrade to anything better than stock and keep 14" wheels. 2.3 front brakes are 10", 5.0's are 11's and 14" wheels won't fit over the calipers. the 11" brakes have a whole different spindle, rotor, caliper & brake hose than the 10" ones.

Converting to rear disc is hard because you have to put in different axles in the rear.

Oh yeah, SVO's dont have two piston front calipers. They have 73mm single piston. And you WILL have to put on a bigger master cylinder for 73mm calipers.
