I need new brakes on my '95 cobra pretty bad. It shakes horribly when stopping. I wanna know what you guys suggest for pads and rotors (I have slottled rotors that have been resurfaced once so new ones are needed) I was told that with cobras, unless you use oem pads up front they make noise. Is this true?? Thanks for the input!

Powerslot slotted and cross drilled rotors work pretty good and a decent price, as for pads I have hawk up front and green stuff pads out back and very little noise, actually less than stock and a lot less dust.

cheap

i used the Napa brand premium, from what i gather from my ford mechanic it is the same manufaturer as the OEM so mine do not make a bit of noise at all.

I got hawk pads all around on stock rotors, steel lines, and decent fluid(wanna put in some better stuff). After a 4 lap autox session I had no brake fade. (This course only had one section with very hard braking (80ish-30mph). Going to another one tommorow so maybe I can report back after that.

The hawk pads do like to dust alot and the fronts are pretty noisy too I was going to put in some of the brake B quiet or whatever but forgot to throw some in there before I assembled everything.

I run the power stop rotors @ all 4 corners, they look cool with the gold coating and all, but they're a bit on the expensive side, I just paid full price from summit and it was like 120 each for the fronts and 90 each for the rears.
